Volodymyr Boguslavsky was born in Kyiv on November 11, 1954. He is a renowned Ukrainian artist based in Lviv and has been a proud member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1998.
His artistic journey began with his graduation from the Taras Shevchenko Republican Art High School in Kyiv in 1972. He then continued his studies at the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts, specializing in Interior Design, graduating in 1978.
With a rich history of participation in international exhibitions and major national art showcases, Volodymyr’s works are held in prestigious museums including the Nikanor Onatsky Sumy Art Museum, Borys Voznytsky Lviv National Art Gallery, Andrei Sheptytsky National Museum in Lviv, and the National Art Museum of Ukraine in Kyiv, alongside private collections around the world.
In 2019, at the XII Florence Biennale in Italy, Volodymyr was honored with the Lorenzo de’ Medici Special International Prize, placing him among the top five painters in the Western art scene.
